Have you seen neon orange cherries before… no? Well, you saw it here first then!

I am almost done with another two sets of handmade books which will probably end up as gifts for the new year. I followed a tutorial from Sea Lemon on YouTube for the binding stitches and will be finishing off with a split board cover style for both books.

I had some bright orange cloth and was itching to use it as part of the spine but didn’t have any paper or cloth for a matching cover… well, not until I saw this cute tissue paper at the Idee. Shop. They were just perfect!

Getting to pick the paper, colours and decide on the cover style are the cherries on top for me in the making of these books!
